The Master of Translation and Interpreting at UNSW is a two-year full-time postgraduate degree that allows students to specialise in an area relevant to their professional translating and interpreting ambitions. The degree combines translation studies and interpreting courses with elective courses from applied linguistics to provide a complementary and comprehensive language education tailored to individual interests. Students graduate with the knowledge, skills and certifications required to work as a professional translator or professional interpreter in Australia and beyond. The program offers translation and interpreting in 14 languages including Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), French, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French and more, subject to demand.
