The Master of Global Medicines Development is a joint degree offered by Monash University and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This program provides a comprehensive understanding of how the discovery, development, and distribution of new medicines unfold on a global scale. Students confront pressing issues such as funding medicines development in developing countries, navigating global drug regulations, and addressing disparities in access to appropriate medicines. Through interdisciplinary coursework, team-based projects and a final semester placement opportunity, graduates develop leadership, data and financial management skills, and the cross-cultural understanding needed to work effectively in diverse teams tackling global challenges in pharmaceutical development.
