The MA War Studies at King's College London is one of the oldest programmes in its field, examining war and conflict from cutting-edge interdisciplinary perspectives including historical, political, sociological, philosophical, artistic, legal, ethical, and military viewpoints. The programme develops critical analytical and reflective abilities through engagement with diverse disciplines spanning the humanities and social sciences. Based in the Department of War Studies, one of the only departments in the world focused solely on conflict and security, students benefit from research-led teaching on topics including grand strategy, arms control, non-proliferation, cyber, migration, and regional specialisms across Africa, Asia, and Russia.
