牙周病学 Master of Dental Surgery in Periodontology

The Master of Dental Surgery in Periodontology [MDS(Perio)] is a full-time programme that extends over not less than three years of study. The programme is designed to enable candidates to achieve an advanced level of knowledge and competence in Periodontology through a prescribed course of study and a supervised research project. The programme is a comprehensive course of advanced study and research into the histopathogenesis of periodontal diseases and their aetiology, prevention and management. It also covers the provision of advanced forms of periodontal therapy, as well as the planning, placement and supportive care of dental implants.
