The Master of International Relations is designed both for those purely interested in acquiring a better understanding of global governance and politics and for those seeking a qualification to enhance their career prospects. The course provides students with the knowledge and skills to tackle international issues across areas including global governance, international security, and foreign policy. Strongly performing students have the option of writing a dissertation which may lead to higher degree research programs, including PhD pathways. Students without a relevant bachelor degree background complete additional foundational coursework before specialising across topics covering theory, regional studies and contemporary international issues.
