This combined degree allows students to complete two master’s degrees in as little as two years. Study topics include political economy, security and conflict, as well as international criminal and human rights law. Elective units include studies in environmental law, oil and gas law and World Trade Organization law, as well as international relations topics such as religion, NGOs, Africa, China and US foreign policy. The program integrates the Master of International Law (coursework) and the Master of International Relations, providing graduates with a comprehensive understanding of both international legal frameworks and global political dynamics. It is jointly administered by UWA Law School and the Social Sciences division, and is available to law and non-law graduates.
