传染病学 Master of Infectious Diseases

The Master of Infectious Diseases provides graduates with advanced skills and knowledge in infectious diseases, from laboratory diagnosis through to treatment and prevention. Students gain comprehensive knowledge in diverse topics such as the transmission and pathogenesis of infectious agents, molecular microbiology, bioinformatics, immunology, vaccine design and therapeutics, emerging diseases and zoonoses, and disease surveillance and public health. Comprehensive practical skills are gained from over 150 hours of hands-on laboratory classes in the first year of study. In the second year, students have the option of undertaking a research project, coursework, or a combination of both.
