The MA in International Relations at Queen's University Belfast examines the practices and problems that produce world politics. Using traditional and critical theories, students analyse war, diplomacy, arms control, global health policy, humanitarian intervention, development policy, migration and climate change. Core modules include Theories and Issues in International Relations, International Political Economy and Research Design, plus a choice between International Terrorism or Contemporary Security. Elective modules allow specialisation in EU politics, conflict intervention, ethnic conflict and global development.
