The LLM (Law) provides ambitious graduates with a highly flexible approach to advanced legal studies, focused on the School of Law's specialisms in criminal justice, European law, public and environmental governance, human rights, international business, law and technology, and intellectual property law. The programme reflects the School's global orientation and culture of critical enquiry, encouraging students to devise the pathway that best suits their scholarly interests and career ambitions. Students choose from a broad range of optional modules and complete a research dissertation on an independently chosen topic. Law at Queen's is ranked in the top 150 Law Schools worldwide and top 10 in the UK, with research ranked 8th in the UK in the 2021 Research Assessment Exercise.
