The MSc Dental Science for Clinical Practice is designed for UK and internationally qualified dental graduates seeking to advance their clinical practice. It offers comprehensive training across six core areas: clinical skills laboratory training, basic and advanced sciences, principles of clinical dentistry, communication skills, professionalism, and management and leadership. Students gain hands-on experience in one of the UK's most comprehensive Clinical Skills Laboratories with 72 phantom heads, attending clinical sessions observing modern dental treatments. The programme covers core dental sciences and digital dentistry technologies including haptic simulators, intraoral scanners and 3D printing. A clinical audit project and 15,000-word dissertation form the research component.
