The Master of Cities at NUS prepares professionals to shape and transform cities. The programme blends in-person intensive blocks with online learning, covering five core areas: city liveability and systems analysis, social and spatial equity, sustainability and nature, innovation and competitiveness, and governance and integrated planning. Students access Singapore as a living laboratory for high-density urbanism and benefit from a case-based approach immersing them in real-world urban challenges. The programme emphasises interdisciplinary practical and theoretical concepts to analyse complex urban issues and deliver impactful change.
