物理学 MSc Physics

The MSc Physics programme strengthens knowledge in core areas of advanced physics including particle physics, cosmology, experimental biophysics, nanotechnology, and condensed matter theory and simulation. A large number of optional modules enable specialisation, with options from the Departments of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Royal Holloway's Physics Department. Students undertake an advanced research project supervised by world-leading experts, building skills in project management, independent working, and analytical thinking. The department has links with major collaborations such as the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, the LIGO gravitational wave observatory, and the European Space Agency's exoplanet exploration project.
