The MA Technology and Education Futures at Exeter develops students' understanding of how technology impacts learning, the curriculum, and possible futures of education. Through core modules in Digital Education Futures and Technology, Learning and Pedagogy, students build in-depth knowledge of new and emerging educational technologies, teaching thinking, and teaching for creativity. The Education Studies module contextualises these approaches within a broader range of educational theories and practice. Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, workshops, peer-led activities, online resources, Digital Maker Space work, and field trips. The programme engages with high-profile visiting researchers and local partners in educational technology and schools.
