社会学（政治与经济社会学） MPhil Sociology (Political and Economic Sociology)

The MPhil in Sociology (Political and Economic Sociology) provides students with the opportunity to study the major themes and debates of Political and Economic Sociology at an advanced level. This pathway integrates the consideration of political and economic debates with the study of substantive topics and gives a thorough grounding in research methods. The programme consists of a core course covering major theoretical contributions, research skills training including ethics and academic writing, optional seminars in Lent term, and a dissertation requiring theoretically informed empirical analysis.
