数学（理论物理） MASt Mathematics (Theoretical Physics)

This course, commonly referred to as Part III, is a nine-month taught master’s course in mathematics and an application stream for the Master of Advanced Study (MASt) in Mathematics focusing on Theoretical Physics. It is excellent preparation for mathematical research and a valuable course for those wanting further training before entering industry, teaching, or research establishments. Each year the Faculty offers up to 80 lecture courses in Part III, covering pure mathematics, probability, statistics, applied mathematics and theoretical physics. These courses cover advanced material not normally included in a first degree and are an indispensable preliminary to independent study and research.
