岩土工程 MSc Geotechnical Engineering

The MSc Geotechnical Engineering at Birmingham provides advanced training to civil engineers and geologists who wish to widen their knowledge or specialise in geotechnical engineering. Students learn to engineer the ground to ensure modern structures such as buildings, earth dams, roads, railways and bridges are safe — from planning and directing ground investigations, to interpreting results and proposing innovative design and construction methods. Accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM) comprising the Institution of Civil Engineers and Institution of Structural Engineers, the programme is taught in self-contained module-blocks and culminates in an individual research project.
