The MSc Environment, Development and Politics at the University of Birmingham integrates power dynamics into environmental decision-making through a collaborative interdisciplinary approach developed in association with the Department of Political Science and International Studies (POLSIS). The programme runs over 12 months full-time and comprises 60 credits of core modules covering Environment and Sustainable Development, Global Environmental Governance, and International Development, plus 60 credits of optional modules from International Development and POLSIS, and a 60-credit dissertation which may include individual overseas fieldwork.
