宗教、政治与社会 MA Religion, Politics and Society

This MA examines the major role religion plays in national and international politics and society, combining social sciences and religious studies to develop analytical skills for debating issues such as political violence, security, democracy, human rights and religious freedom. The programme crosses subject boundaries, offering module choices across Theology and Religion, History, Philosophy and Politics. Students develop their understanding of the role of religion in politics, international relations and modern society, learning from experts in one of the world's Top 50 Theology and Religion departments (QS World University Rankings 2025). The Theology and Religion department is ranked 3rd in the UK in REF 2021.
