森林学(高级) Master of Forests (Advanced)

The Master of Forests (Advanced) is a two-year research-integrated degree at the Australian National University designed for students seeking advanced expertise in forest science, conservation, and sustainable management. Forests are the most biodiverse terrestrial ecosystems and are central to planetary and human health. The program addresses critical global challenges including halting deforestation, restoring degraded forest landscapes, and expanding the role of forests in climate change mitigation and adaptation. Students complete 48 units of interdisciplinary coursework drawing from forest science, ecology, environmental policy, resource economics, and natural resource management, followed by a 48-unit independent research thesis conducted under ANU academic supervision.
