The Master of Economics and Resource Policy specialising in International Trade develops students' ability to analyse decisions by individuals, governments and businesses and evaluate their societal impacts. Students build in-depth knowledge in international trade theory with an emphasis on practical skills including negotiating, implementing and monitoring trade policy. Core topics include Economic Principles, Global Food and Agricultural Markets, Principles of International Trade and Development, and Cost-Benefit Analysis. Students complete an applied research project and choose elective courses across economic analysis, global food and agribusiness, or public economics and policy. Graduates work in public services, consultancies, not-for-profits and private business.
