The Master of Economics is designed to equip graduates with advanced economic skills and knowledge. Students complete advanced studies in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics, with options to undertake a research dissertation and to specialise in areas such as applied economics, environmental economics, health economics, and financial economics. Successful completion of the degree demonstrates competence in interpreting frontier research and applying advanced data analysis techniques. A standard full-time completion is 1.5 years based on admission credit recognition, with a maximum of 2 years for full coursework. The program prepares graduates for professional roles as economists in consulting, regulation, business analytics, and finance.
