The Master of Architecture is the professional degree in architecture accredited by the Architects Board of Western Australia, and validated internationally by the Commonwealth Association of Architects and through the Canberra Accords. The course features a strong emphasis on design expertise, technical and environmental proficiency, and professional research skills. The core curriculum covers conceptual and detailed design, technology and professional practice, with optional focus areas in Building Information Modelling, Landscape Design, Social Impact Design, and Urban Design. Following graduation, students must complete 3,300 hours of professional experience and pass the Architectural Practice Examination before registering as an architect.
