数学 Master of Mathematics

The Master of Mathematics at UNSW offers advanced training in pure and applied mathematics, ranked #2 in Australia and #48 globally for Mathematics (QS, 2025). The program strengthens theoretical foundations while developing problem-solving and quantitative skills for applications in data science, finance, cryptography, engineering and natural sciences. Students complete 60 UOC of coursework across an extensive elective list, plus a 12 UOC supervised research project. Flexible electives allow focus on theoretical, applied or computational mathematics, or interdisciplinary study from other faculties, supported by strong industry links and the STEM Career Launchpad.
