The Master of Urban Planning is a professionally accredited degree focusing on Australian and international policy and planning pertaining to human settlements. The program addresses how planners can respond to challenging population and environmental issues including climate change, deepening inequality, concerns for community health and safety, and the emergence of global city-regions. Because practicing planners work closely with other disciplines, the interdisciplinary approach to learning and teaching prepares students to work effectively and collaboratively in industry and with other built environment disciplines. Graduates develop the capacity to centre climate change, social justice and health in professional decision-making.
