The Master of Urban and Cultural Heritage is a cross-disciplinary and industry-oriented program covering the interpretation, management, and conservation of urban and cultural heritage. Taking an international perspective on the heritage of buildings, cities, and landscapes, the program explores key heritage issues with a focus on Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. Core subjects examine heritage policy, regulation and practice, digital technologies and heritage, heritage significance within historical and cross-cultural contexts, and heritage reconstruction. Students gain critical research and presentation skills in the analysis, documentation, and management of heritage sites and cultural practices, with options for a research project or industry internship.
