遗传咨询 Master of Genetic Counselling

The Master of Genetic Counselling is a professionally accredited coursework degree designed to develop skills and competencies across clinical practice and research in genetic counselling. Students learn to help individuals, couples, and families understand and adapt to the medical, psychological and familial implications of genetic contributions to disease. The program is delivered within the University of Melbourne Academic Centre at the Royal Children's Hospital in Parkville, with teaching by genetic counsellors, medical specialists, clinical geneticists, scientists, patients and community members. The program has well-established links to international training programs, offering overseas clinical placement opportunities in addition to local and interstate placements.
