The Comparative Business Economics MA draws upon expertise within UCL's School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES) and is focused principally at company-level study. The programme examines the role of multinationals, corporate governance and finance, privatisation, entrepreneurship, and the determinants of innovation and technological change within the European area. Students are equipped with strong foundations in international business, economics, finance and corporate governance, drawing on the experience of 28 nations that emerged from the former Soviet bloc. SSEES hosts research centres including the Economics and Business Seminar Series and CNET (Centre for New Economic Transitions), with close contacts with employers, policymakers and embassies.
