生物治疗学 MSc Biotherapeutics

The MSc in Biotherapeutics educates students on the practical uses of molecular advances in the discovery of protein and other biomolecular drug candidates and their development into biotherapeutics. The programme covers pre-clinical modelling, target identification, antibody engineering, biochemical and biophysical characterisation, and bioprocessing development. Systems biology, proteomics-based discovery data analysis, mathematical modelling and bioinformatics are covered in detail alongside regulatory issues and commercialisation strategies. A practical 6-month drug discovery laboratory project forms a significant component. Students gain access to the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT) on campus.
