The MSc in Child Protection and Welfare at Trinity College Dublin is a multi-disciplinary programme for practitioners and service managers in child protection and welfare. The course enhances the knowledge base of professionals in statutory and voluntary services, with emphasis on the multi-disciplinary nature of child protection and family support interventions. The programme runs for one academic year from September to May, with students attending the university for one week per month over nine months. Modules include Child Protection Perspectives and Practices, Child Law, Child Development, Interventions with Children and Families, Research Methods, and Contemporary Issues.
