净零工程（含一年工业实习） Net Zero Engineering with Year in Industry

This MSc provides the same strong foundation in net zero engineering as the standard programme, with the addition of a Year in Industry placement of at least nine months. Year one covers sustainability and net-zero criteria, tools for quantifying energy and carbon, applied renewable energy and low-carbon technologies, and hydrogen energy systems including generation, integration, and system design. Students also conduct a research project in net zero engineering. In year two, students undertake an industry-based placement in a zero-carbon oriented workplace, developing highly transferable skills. Students may complete their research project on return to QUB or during placement.
