The MPH at Queen's University Belfast is an internationally recognised qualification equipping students with the knowledge and skills to pursue careers in public health or health-related leadership. Two specialist pathways are offered: the core MPH and MPH (Global Health). The curriculum is aligned to the UK Faculty of Public Health professional examination syllabus. Core modules cover public health concepts and methods, statistics, health and social care systems, and determinants of health. The global health specialism adds international development, maternal and child health and universal health coverage strategies. Optional modules include advanced statistics, qualitative methods, health economics, non-communicable diseases and systems thinking.
