The MA in Violence, Terrorism and Security at Queen's University Belfast equips students with the foundations and up-to-date research and methodologies in terrorism studies, security studies and conflict analysis. Located in Belfast, a unique post-conflict environment, the programme provides access to guest lecturers involved in the Northern Irish conflict and peace process. Students develop critical and analytical approaches to studying political violence and terrorism in historical and contemporary contexts, covering state responses to terrorism and the challenge for security.
