International Political Sociology (IPS) is an interdisciplinary field combining international relations with sociology, geography, law, history, and anthropology. This MA programme adopts a problem-driven approach to world politics that transcends established disciplinary boundaries, spanning International Relations, Political Science, Sociology, Law, and History, and extending to non-academic spaces such as think-tanks, NGOs, and policy units. Core modules include Advanced Introduction to International Political Sociology and Doing Transdisciplinary Research, plus elective modules from Politics, Law, and History departments, concluding with a 60-credit dissertation.
