The MSc Development and International Business explores the changing relationship between states and markets, examining the politics of development, foreign direct investment and international institutions of global political-economic governance. Jointly taught with the School of Business and Management, it provides advanced understanding of international business from neo-liberal mainstream to critical perspectives engaging with power and resistance. Core modules cover world economy and development, global working lives, and research design and methods. Optional modules span economics of development, global governance, international business strategy, supply chain management, and sustainability finance. The programme concludes with a 12,000-word dissertation.
