The MSc in Economics equips students with solid economic analysis skills, with an emphasis on the rapid evolution of digital technology and the growing importance of data. In addition to comprehensive training in core economic theory including microeconomics, macroeconomics and international economics, students can specialise in either Applied Economics or Digital Economics. The Applied Economics stream focuses on modern techniques for analysing complex data and using data-driven approaches to solve real-world economic problems. The Digital Economics stream provides up-to-date knowledge of the digital economy and trains students to examine related issues through rigorous economic analysis.
