哲学神学 MPhil Philosophical Theology

The MPhil in Philosophical Theology is intended to provide students with detailed knowledge of philosophical theology, including the opportunity to study its history and a cognate area of philosophy or theology. Students develop skills in research and in written and oral argumentation. In year one, students attend weekly tutorials in which they study three subject areas. For each area students have six or eight tutorials of 60 to 90 minutes and write an essay of approximately 3,000 to 5,000 words per tutorial. In year two, students write a 30,000-word dissertation under a supervisor's direction. The Faculty of Theology and Religion maintains a lively graduate community with reading groups and work-in-progress sessions. The Faculty is based in the Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities.
