The Master of Music (Coursework) is an exciting new pathway for Bachelor of Music graduates to deepen their creative and scholarly practice. Combining advanced coursework with a major creative project or dissertation, this flexible degree supports aspiring performers, composers, music producers, and researchers in shaping their artistic and academic journey. It is designed to give students higher-level skills in performance, composition, music production or combinations of these three, complemented with academic papers that help students articulate their practice in words. Two 60-point papers at 400- and 500-level allow students to develop projects in Creative Practice, with options for academic papers focused on creative practice, health and wellbeing, pedagogy, and community music.
