The Master of Science in Data Science for Sustainability is a collaboration between the Department of Statistics and Data Science and the Centre for Nature-based Climate Solutions, in partnership with the Department of Biological Science. The world is currently facing significant sustainability challenges, including climate change, biodiversity loss, water scarcity, and pollution. Data science, by uncovering valuable insights from complex economic, environmental, and social systems, has become a crucial player in supporting efforts to address these issues. The programme trains data scientists who can integrate their knowledge and skills with an understanding of sustainability issues.
