The NUS Master of Economics offers a coursework programme with two tracks: the Applied Economics track and the Quantitative Economics track. The career-oriented Applied Economics track is for individuals who wish to become professional economists or economic consultants in business, non-profit, or government organizations. The academic-focused Quantitative Economics track prepares students for doctoral studies in economics and careers requiring rigorous training in advanced economic theory and quantitative skills. Full-time students can complete the programme within one year, with around 25% completing within one year and around 50% within one and a half years.
