The NUS Master of Architecture is Asia's leading design and research programme for architecture. The programme emphasises design expertise, recognising architecture as a cultural practice that involves both speculative intelligence and practical execution. Students cultivate critical perspectives through research-based design studios across four semesters, exploring diverse issues via Design Options Studios and the graduate-level Design Thesis. Core Professional Modules and Graduate Level Electives complement the studios. Facilitated by world-class academics and professional architects from six research clusters, the programme develops research-driven design practice and prepares graduates to become design leaders.
