This MSc teaches advanced mathematical techniques in the interdisciplinary field of complex systems, equipping graduates to apply them across biomedicine, natural sciences, economics, and social sciences. Students choose between two pathways: Systems Pathway (mathematical modelling) or Data Science Pathway (analysing complex data). The course features an advanced research methods module with lectures from renowned external researchers and a three-month original research project. King’s is a world-leading centre for complex and disordered systems, one of the first universities to establish a dedicated research group in this field.
