The MA Theatre, Performance & Critical Culture at King's College London provides advanced study of theatre, performance, and related cultural practices in the heart of London. The programme combines critical theory, creative inquiry, and interdisciplinary research across contemporary theatre, live art, experimental choreography, and political performance. Students examine how performance engages with social, political, and environmental contexts, developing critical and performative writing practices. Core themes include capitalism and crisis, race and gender theory, trans politics, and sustainability. Through the cross-faculty Performance@King's network, students engage with performance across War Studies, Cultural Media, and Modern Languages.
