Public health is the science and art of protecting and improving the health of people and their communities. A Masters in Public Health (MPH) from the University of Glasgow allows you to develop the knowledge and skills needed to make a difference. The programme is multidisciplinary — staff and students come from backgrounds including medicine, nursing, mathematics, computer science, psychology, sociology, and social policy. Public health plays a central role in guiding health care practice, influencing health policy, protecting the public, and improving population health. The MPH degree may be obtained with or without a specialism; available specialisms are Data Science, Epidemiology, Health Economics and Health Promotion.
