This LLM in Human Rights offers the opportunity to study the theory and practice of human rights through an in-depth analysis incorporating the law, history and philosophy of international and domestic legal frameworks. Three core courses — Advanced Introduction to the European Convention on Human Rights, International Human Rights Law, and National Human Rights Law — are required, alongside three optional courses from topics including International Criminal Law, Climate Change Law, Environmental Justice, and the Laws of Armed Conflict. You will be taught by academics with links to international human rights organisations and NGOs, providing opportunities for guest lectures and seminars.
