岩土工程 MSc Geotechnical Engineering

The MSc Geotechnical Engineering is delivered by Camborne School of Mines (CSM) at the University of Exeter's Penryn Campus in Cornwall. The programme provides knowledge in rock engineering, site investigation, data capture and data analysis required to understand the issues facing engineers excavating increasingly ambitious and complex underground spaces. The programme is structured into two taught semesters followed by a three-month research project and dissertation, carrying 180 credits in total. Core modules cover excavation and geomechanics, hydrogeology, soil mechanics with mine tailings engineering, surface and underground excavation design, mine planning and design, and health and safety in the extractive industry.
