食品研究 MA Food Studies

The MA Food Studies prepares you to understand, critically assess, and practically engage with foodways and food systems in industrialised and non-industrialised societies. Core modules provide interdisciplinary perspectives drawing from archaeology, classics, history, anthropology, sociology, geography, political economy, and the life sciences. Students survey the historical development of agriculture and food, analyse the workings of mainstream and alternative food systems, and study challenges and solutions for making foodways more sustainable. A wide range of optional modules allows students to develop focused expertise in sustainable food production, health and nutrition, community development, education, or business and social enterprise.
