The Master of Arts in Music Education provides a solid subject-based grounding for practitioners in the music profession while at the same time satisfies their need in further developing understanding in thinking, research and practice in music education relevant to their professional roles. The programme aims to deepen and strengthen students' professional aptitude in their chosen music domain such as composition, performance, or research, cultivate synergy between subject and pedagogical strengths in music, and help students develop and apply skills in creative and critical thinking, research and arts practice to the professional fields of music and music education.
