The MA Educational Counselling programme provides extensive training in both modern and post-modern theories of counselling, with 80 to 100 hours of supervised counselling practicum. It introduces innovative approaches and strategies to address the needs of students in kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, and post-secondary institutions. The programme focuses on the collaboration between school and community, with emphasis on counselling ethics, case assessment, conceptualisation, and reflective counselling practice. An outreach model of learning includes student practicum arranged in satellite counselling sites in collaboration with NGOs, and primary and secondary schools.
