The world is facing multiple, interconnected global crises, from climate change and biodiversity loss to global health emergencies and widening inequality. Addressing them requires new ways of thinking that connect human health with the health of our planet. Planetary health examines these factors and their consequences, and looks at ways in which redesigning, connecting and leveraging interdependent health, environment and economic systems could offer new global solutions.
