精神病学 MPhil Psychiatry

The Department of Psychiatry is an internationally leading centre for research and teaching, with particular focus on the determinants of mental health conditions, their treatments, and the promotion of mental health through innovative translational research. This 12-month full-time research MPhil involves minimal formal teaching; students are integrated into the research culture of the department and the institute in which they are based. Each student conducts their project under the direction of a principal supervisor with additional guidance from an adviser. The research project topic reflects the supervisor's research interests, and students are required to attend research group meetings and develop skills in reviewing literature, designing experiments, and presenting results.
